Welcome to Branston Community College
Welcome to the Branston Community College website. We are an 11-18 all ability secondary school of 1050 students situated 4 miles to the SE of the city of Lincoln.
Recently a commercially benchmarked survey of our parents and school inspectors (Ofsted) have rated the College as ‘outstanding’ for its overall effectiveness.
Students thrive educationally and reach high academic standards, but within a remarkably caring, supportive and nurturing environment.
In 2002 the College became one of the first 18 secondary school nationally to gain Business and Enterprise specialist status. The high quality of our Business and ICT curricula, the range of enterprise opportunities for our students and an innovative partnership with a major local employer, Lincolnshire Co-operative, are examples of how that status has shaped our development.
The College has received recognition and many awards for the achievements of our students in recent years. This has resulted in the College being rated as a ‘High Performing Specialist School’ and being offered the opportunity to take on a second specialism in Applied Learning.
